World Choral Music Collection

With rising interest in world choral music, cultural music has started to be explored by the global choral community. However, due to language differences, choral conductors and educators hesitate to program certain choral music for their ensembles.  Further limitations include availability to practical assistance in locating the literature, gaining access to published copies or permission to print and use, exploring different composers and their works, receiving guidance as to the translation and pronunciation, and understanding the nuances of teaching the diction.

Therefore, Joseph started this project to collect world choral music for the global choral community. Recently, he is working on his Mandarin and Cantonese Choral Music library, and creating diction guides for the global choral community. Currently, he is revising manuscripts by Dr. August Werner, founder of the Norwegian Ladies Chorus of Seattle, and collecting Norwegian folk music from the Ballard, WA community.
